A remote paradise with only 12 rooms where we wanted to preserve the facade and one of the porches of what was an old country house to pay tribute to the traditional architecture of Sierra de Gata and its landscapes. Also to the materials of the area: slate, oak wood, Portuguese granite, stone, cork... And inside, wood, iron and natural fibers. And the pasture framed in every window. So that nothing disconnects you from the place you are in.

The 12 double rooms of our charming rural hotel recommended for adults have their own name because each one offers a personal touch according to its location and category, such as large windows, views of the pasture, the olive grove, the swimming pool or the sunset, sloping ceilings, private terrace, fireplace, vintage bathtub, bathroom utensils, coffee maker...

Common areas for you to enjoy
Our garden will become one of your favourite spots at Hábitat Cigüeña Negra: here you will find two stone terraces to stare at the olive grove surrounded by native plants, a stone swimming pool with a view of the pond and the dehesa, and one of the most special places on the estate: the tree bar that encircles the trunk of a century-old cork tree. You won’t want to miss the sunset from here...
Moreover, you can relax with a coffee or a glass of wine on the porch listening to the murmur of the fountain, buy our Iberian products and oils in the gourmet store or contemplate the starry sky through a telescope from the viewpoint. Because in our romantic rural hotel in Cáceres you will not only enjoy the pasture but also one of the clearest skies in Europe.
